Dominic Tinley is an interactive media practitioner and advisor with 15 years’ experience leading projects that push the boundaries of new technology within different organisations. He is currently working as a freelance consultant, based in London.
As one of the first producers at BBC Online, Dominic helped establish BBC Learning as a leading educational website in the UK. He went on to become New Media Manager at Channel 4 Learning.
At Culture Online he managed projects that combined arts, culture and technology in innovative ways. These included My Art Space, Icons of England, and the award-winning SoundJunction.
From 2005 to 2008 Dominic was Head of Online for the UK Parliament where he oversaw a major redesign of its website and intranet.
Since 2008 Dominic has been director of Tinley Media, an interactive media agency with a focus on strategic planning, conceptual design and prototype development. Recent clients have included BBC R&D, BBC Vision and the Wellcome Trust.
